Thank you for considering the Daniel Boone Conservation League!
If you have questions, please contact the Membership Secretary.
As a non-member / prospective member, you may visit the club to tour the facilities between 8:00am and dusk any day of the week. You are not permitted to use the ranges. The caretaker or a range safety officer may approach you to find out what you are up to. Let them know you are visiting the club to tour the facility and that you are considering becoming a member. They can answer some questions that you might have. If need be, let them know that you have previously spoken with me, Steve Engel, about becoming a member. My preference would be for you to attend a new member safety briefing. We hold a new member range safety briefing on the 2nd Saturday of each month. A range safety officer walks and talks new members through each range and safety expectations.
Anyone that wants to become a member must attend the general meeting to become a member. Our general meeting for new members to join is held on the first Tuesday of each month. The meeting starts at 7:00pm but new members are required to show up at 6:30pm to take care of the paperwork.
We do not offer family memberships but the rates for a spouse and/or children are quite reasonable. Please note, immediate family members, including grandchildren, can come as your guest, anytime, if you are with them and always supervise them. Guests that are not immediate family can only come as your guest twice per year.
To check for club activities before visiting the club, browse to our Calendar of Events page.
If you join the club in the months of January through October, your membership goes through to the end of the year with a statement sent to you in December for next year’s renewal. If you are joining in the later part of the year, consider joining the club at the November meeting as you will get membership for the balance of the year and all the next year. We do not accept new members at the December meeting, that meeting is for members only as we elect new officers and board members.
Your Membership card and use of the club facilities for a new member is granted after attending the Range Safety Briefing held on the 2nd Saturday of each month.
